Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Housing Counselor located in Howard County, MD. As a Housing Counselor, you will be responsible for providing housing counseling services to individuals and families. This includes assisting with pre-purchase, rental, credit, debt management, wealth building, savings, budgeting, and providing education on U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop action plans, and provide ongoing support throughout the housing counseling process.
Qualifications
Certified Housing Counselor with experience in housing counseling
Knowledge of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs
Experience delivering group education and providing counseling on pre-purchase, rental and financial topics
